Last year there are rumors about Toshiba is going to sell instant rechargeable battery. Well now this battery prototype has been shown to public.

While displaying this battery prototype called Super Charge Ion Battery (SCIB), the Japanese electronic company claimed that within 10 minutes, SCIB can be recharged up to 90 percent of its capacity. Quoted from ITnews, this battery is made from material that offer stability against high temperature and avoid overheating. SCIB is claimed to be able to be recharge up to five to six thousand times. While, lithium-ion battery will usually stand out only for 500 times recharge. Will this battery be the battery of the future gadget?? We’ll see

Gates Sued Over An Overheated XBox

In 2006, a teenager named Kayla Lazo had a fire in her house that caused her defected. The Microsoft Xbox console game was  thought to be the cause of this incident because of overheating.

William Tining as the family lawyer in this case gave an ultimatum to Microsoft. The point is that Microsoft has to pay a compensation of US$ 25million.  If this is not approved, then Bill Gates as the owner of Microsoft will be taken to court according to law so that he will be responsible by witnessing in the court, and explaining about the safety standards of his products.

A few years ago, Microsoft did pull back millions of Xbox units regarding with the possibility overheating to happen. Kayla Lazo is said to be one of the korban where her house in Texas burnt down by fire from the Xbox.

Lazo experienced a serious burnt injury, even have to lose one of her feet. Microsoft said that they are sorry for Lazo’s condition, but they refused to pay because there wasn’t any strong evidence to prove.
