Last year there are rumors about Toshiba is going to sell instant rechargeable battery. Well now this battery prototype has been shown to public.

While displaying this battery prototype called Super Charge Ion Battery (SCIB), the Japanese electronic company claimed that within 10 minutes, SCIB can be recharged up to 90 percent of its capacity. Quoted from ITnews, this battery is made from material that offer stability against high temperature and avoid overheating. SCIB is claimed to be able to be recharge up to five to six thousand times. While, lithium-ion battery will usually stand out only for 500 times recharge. Will this battery be the battery of the future gadget?? We’ll see

Kingston Terra Cotta : The Guardian of Your Data

Kingston Data Traveller (DT) Terra Cotta 4GB shows a picture of Terra Cotta soldier in its casing. It’s almost like a symbol of the flash disk ability to guard your data security. The Terra Cotta soldier has a relief effect on a metal surface which covers Terra Cotta DT. Just give you an image as the soldier was carved outside this goldie flash drive.

The soldier image is made according the Terra Cotta statues, that is a bunch of archeology findings in China that presenting many figures which accompany King Qin Shi Huang (259-210 BC) after dead. Beside soldiers, Terra Cotta statues also have musicians, acrobatics and cavalries.

Via DT Terra Cotta Kingston wants to confirm about the security feature of this flash disk. The SecureTraveller software that available inside enables user to make ‘Privacy Zone’, which is the area covers with password.

The gadget sized 7×1cm has the transfer speed up to 15MB/second (read) and 7MB/second (write). Kingston will make DT Terra Cotta available for Asia Pacific region.
