New Spam Site Every 3 Seconds
The growing of email spams is likely unable to be stopped. According to the latest data compiled from Sophos, a computer security bureau, about 92.3 precent of email traffic in the first three months of 2008 is all spam emails. They also said, 23,300 new webpages has been created everyday to facilitate spamming activities on that period of time. That means, a webpage of spam has been created every 3 seconds. No wonder my Inbox always filled with spams everyday. huhhh…
For the first time, Turkey is in the top three countries in the world that spread spam email. The first and second country are USA and Russia, and they have promised to take serious steps on spammers. Russia perhaps has to double their efforts, since the spams sent from this country has doubled in the first quarter of 2008 compares to 2007. As for now, 7.4 percent of spams source in the first quarter of 2008 comes from Russia compares with only 3 percent in the first quarter of 2007
