Kapersky Get The Highest Point In Malware Detection Test
Kapersky has successfully pass several security tests for malware detection and new threat. This product has achieve highest point in several tests held by two antivirus independent laboratories. From several tests which was done by AV-Test.org, Kapersky Internet Security 2009 reach the best result by having the highest point in the category of “On-demand malware detection”, “On-demand spyware and adware detection”, and “Response times to new threats”.
This product has achieved 98.4% on malware detection and 98.3% on spyware and adware detection. Kapersky also named as the product with the shortest response time when new threat occurs. AV-Test.org did some test on more than 30 security products, both personals and corporates, in August - September 2008. More than 1.1 millions of malware which spread in the internet for the last three months were used to evaluate the antivirus effectiveness in detecting malware and unwanted products.
More than 95 thousands of unwanted programs, which contain spyware and adware were also used for the test, by using operating system of Windows XP SP3. With this result, Kapersky has been given the highest certification, Advanced+.
