Lenovo T40, Notebook With Methanol Battery Lasts 10hr

We probably heard about notebook which run by methanol gas but since now, the technology is only as theory and has not been realized till now.

The good news is, a join venture between PolyFuel company with Lenovo will soon release a notebook product with methanol gas energy. Lenovo T40 is the name of the notebook with methanol, or to be precise, Direct Methanol Furl Cell (DMFC) which methanol gas will be converted to electricity to run the notebook.

With this technology, the user can have lots of advantages from the use of methanol which can be refilled and the battery can run for 10 hours, compared to lithium battery which can only lasts for 3-4hours. When it will be sold? Let’s just pray that they can be successful with the research of this Lenovo T40.

Acer Release Mini 3G Laptop

In order to keep the pace with its competitor, Asustek, Acer also plans to release its mini laptop complete with 3G availability

Latest Eee PC Series, Eee PC 904

The success of its first generation of , 701, Asustek has more productive in producing the new brother of this Eee PC. From Asus site, they officially announced their latest model of Eee PC, Eee PC 904. It is not known yet when this latest generation of Eee PC will be available on the market. However, as quoted from Gadgetell, Asus has claimed that the laptop will be available soon.

Eee PC 904 is equipped with 8.9 inch screen with resolution of 1024 x 600, Celeron M 900MHz processor, RAM 1GB,  80GB hard drive, battery power up to five hours, operation system, and weight that is claimed less than 1.4 kgs.

One of the bonus point from Eee PC 904 is the keyboard which is more comfortable with bigger layout than its predecessor, Eee PC 1000. Eee PC 904 will be sold in retails with price tagged at US$535 and predicted to be available in England in Mid July, then other countries.

India Launched The Cheapest Windows XP Based Laptop

A cheap laptop with high quality is everyone’s need, especially in developing country such as India. That is why, Microsoft and an India technology company, called HCL Infosystem have released cheap laptop based on Windows XP operating system.

This notebook is claimed to be the cheapest laptop in the world compare to other Windows XP based. This laptop features include 7 inch screen, a webcam, 30BG HDD and also touch screen. The laptop brand is called Mileap, and will be release around Rs 17,000 for India domestic market.

Ajay Chowdhry, the CEO of HCL said, the domestic computer market in India is very potential. However, it is not just India now, a lot of countries have been busy trying to produce cheap laptop made by their own country. Such as Englang who has produce cheap laptop called Elonex One recently.
