Opera has just declared the new release of Opera Mobile 9.5 version beta. Anxious to know, you can download from this browser and can download for free to show their abilities. Opera hopes high on this new browser. Even, they plan to make sure that this browser can be use to browse from the cell phone faster the previous version.

Opera provides this application for free for the users on their site, that can run in the Windows or Symbian operating system. Quoted from Vnunet, Opera Mobile 9.5 is using zoom technology like Opera Mini, however enable the users to save pages and images.

Japan apparently also wants to show their ability in the software business. A company in that sakura country is really on the go to promote browsers that can beat Firefox or Internet Explorer (IE).

IE8 Will Have Stronger Defense

Microsoft is optimistic that its newest browser which is still under development, Internet Explorer 8, will have stronger defense compares to its predecessor. Eric Lawrence, IE8 security program manager from Microsoft has assured this matter. According to Eric, even IE8 is still in beta version, this browser has excellent defense to fight cross-site scripting or XSS from crackers and attacks from other malicious softwares.

Nonetheless, Lawrence warned developers and webmasters to never let IE8 guard the defense alone. It’s still important for web developer to provide additional defensive system to minimize holes from their site. For web developers and web designers who are eager to try this beta version of IE8, they can download it directly from Microsoft website. For the moment, IE 8 beta version is only available in English version. Microsoft is planning to add other languages such as Deutch and Chinese.

Firefox 3 Has Officially Break The Record

After waiting for a while, Firefox has officially brake the record as the most downloaded software for 24 hours after launching. Guinness book World of Record as the one who noted the record, has officially announced this Mozilla browser success.

As we’ve known, for 24 hours non-stop on 18th of June, Firefox 3 has been downloaded by 8,002,530 people around the world. But soon after that, Guinness didn’t crown Firefox 3 with its record straightaway. Because the juries have to verify to make sure that the record which were Mozilla was trying to break with its Firefox 3 is really valid.

For sure Mozilla is very proud with the title they have been given. And they also say thanks to Mozilla community for their support and participation in helping Firefox 3 getting the Guinness record. I myself am a big fan of Firefox browser and have downloaded this new version of Firefox. Have you?
