Acer Release Mini 3G Laptop

In order to keep the pace with its competitor, Asustek, Acer also plans to release its mini laptop complete with 3G availability

As quoted from Networkworld, this vendor from Taiwan is said to have just started doing a talk with some 3G networking operators and also Europe to provide 3G networks for its Aspire one laptop. Some of them are Chunghwa telecom, Taiwan Mobile, Mobile is claimed that it can access Internet fast wherever and whenever by using HSDPA/HSUPA (High Speed Downlink/Uplink Packet Access) International, Vodafone Group Also Orange in Europe.

Price of this laptop will be around USD 399-499, however mobile services provider can subsidize some of the price in order to gain customers so that they can make a 3G contract.

This mini laptop has approximately 1kg weight and 8.9inch monitor. The price depends on software and hardware application in that laptop. There are two operating systems available in this laptop, those are Linpus Linux Life OS or Windows XP.

This mini is completed with the latest Intel processor that is Atom. Whilst for the storage capacity starts from 8GB SSD (solid-state drive) up to 120GB HDD (hard-disc drive).
